I’ll lead us to explore the initiatory wisdom inspired by Sharon Blackie’s book Hagitude and the mythopoetic guidance that can help us reimagine and find new meaning in getting old.

There are currently words stewing in me like embedded, encoded, Double Goddess, Amazon Resistance, and Báyò Akómoláfé rif on on improv and choreography in Syncretism, Culture, Place, and Fate. Fall into the golden light beckoning

Fall into the sea of letting go

rising purified on the hymns of birds.

Fall into some One more brilliant than you

rising with your crystal-studded crown

layers of silken purple raiment flowing behind.

Fall into LOVE — coming out of mind into holiness

rising like an angel dancing toward the sky.

Wisdom for Body and Soul

Sheila Collins's book The Art of Grieving is out! It’s helping me completely reframe the role of grief in my life and the importance of honoring the many kinds of sorrow in creative ways. Of course, I love the way Sheila highlights the role of InterPlay throughout the book.

Hooray for the new Ecoversities article on Education for the head, heart, body, soul, and spirit! by Clément Moliner-Roy, which includes Agnotti Cowie, Sukhmani, and others. I see huge shifts ahead for educators as we seek to bring more embodied, ensouled practices into learning. If you know an educator who would would love to be part of this movement point them to The InterPlay and Education Inaugural Retreat. It’s the place to be.
