Dance mates and readers-
Contemplative Practice is a Wisdom Way rooted in body and soul. That’s why I want to personally invite you to an event that’s close to my heart: The Contemplative Summit. This gathering is an opportunity to step into sacred spaces of contemplation, to rest in the Mystery, and to discover what it means to live fully present. I need this more than ever to navigate days of turbulent politics, weather events, and life. You?
On Thursday, I’m speaking on Embodied Contemplation alongside amazing teachers like James Finley, Omid Safi, Christine Valters Paintner, and Kaira Jewel Lingo, all of us exploring what it means to deepen our interior lives through the wisdom of mystics, contemplative practices, and psychological insight.
There’s something here for everyone. This Summit is about living the questions:
What do the mystics teach us about becoming whole?
How can we embody the teachings of mysticism in everyday life?
What can our bodies teach us about our inner journey?
Please join me for this free event. You can sign up here:
There are many forms of contemplation. Mine is through dancing, one of the most embodied ways of all.
“The one journey that ultimately matters is the journey into the place of stillness deep within one’s self. To reach that place is to be at home; to fail to reach it is to be forever restless. In contemplation we catch a vision of not only what is, but what can be. Contrary to what we have thought, contemplatives are the great doers.” Gordon Cosby
Excellent opportunity to share your wisdom~
