I am in a season of change, called inward, as events around me are so disturbing. Still, I am listening to body and soul and praying.
Thank Heaven and Earth. I was born a dancer, and you were too.
Our body is not a pet or problem.
Our body is not a work in progress,
a pony to train, or a battleground.
We’re not here to execute leaps,
perform for masses, gain or lose,
control or be controlled.
We are not steps or gestures.
We are the same dancers
who arose at the beginning,
ecstatic portals born to
channel a Mega-Love that
graces us with eternal life.
Body being finite, Soul being eternal,
What joy to ensoul Love’s logical
sacred-mystic-technology,
To be medicine, living breath,
riverway of flow, bone-finders
of the infinite Joy-Way.
Our dance then is our thanksgiving,
home of a billion wordless prayers,
the improvisational byway that
calls us by name and links us to heaven.
Children of the Great Dance learn that despite the fog and sirens of modernity, soul is hearty, collective, ever-resilient, and woven into All.
This is why I need the Dancing Center and those who humbly partake, revel in, and recognize Earth’s Soul Body. Alongside others our theo-kinetic knowing reminds and rekindles the trust that—
All Are Spiritually Intelligent.
Sensitivity is a Dancing Gift Bestowed by Earth on Purpose.
Soul Doesn’t Work At but Rather Plays with Change.
Soul Weaves, Guides, and Initiates Us in Earth’s Dance.
While Solo Dances are Hardest, Community Dance is the High Way.
Soul Credentials Are What Creative Beings Most Need.
The Great Dance Does Not Leave Us As We Age and Die.
Soul Creates.
What has the Great Dance shown or given you? May your comments expand the praise song!
My Prayer
Going forward, beyond memorializing musty stories or lighting candles to ward off terror, may we turn to our Great Dancers, Indigenous Wisdom Bearers, the Mystics and Children who ensoul Life in every lineage—Singers, athletes, electricians, thinkers, poets, chemists, artists, chaplains, mechanics,
or that Quiet Light of Presence
hidden in plain sight in a world that seems blind to soul.
Don’t ask them if they dance.
Observe them.
Let their dance touch and move you,
a match to ignite your own.
Thank them. Put them on your spirit team
in case you forget, as you will.
Then, make the dance your own.

I love this line:
"Our body is not a pet or problem."
Life always seems to provide me with multiple options to pursue and certainly treating my body like a pet and then finding a problem...what a surprise.
Pursuing the dance in whatever form it takes provides me a sanctuary to discover more of myself and my capabilities.
I'll work on not growling so much and look to diminish my barking too, especially at the evening news
